A Completely Modular Approach
A major pain point when making updates to our previous website was the lack of flexibility across page types. When planning the latest iteration of the Mostly Serious website, we wanted to give ourselves a robust toolbox of versatile content sections that could be easily assembled in any configuration and on any page type — giving us a high level of control over the stories we were able to tell across each page.

Custom Animated Illustrations
We defined in our concepting exercises and mood board creation that we wanted custom animated illustrations incorporating geometric shapes and abstract characters, leveraging our new brand palette. I sourced and partnered with an illustrator to work through a handful of scenes that are peppered throughout the UI.
